If you want a break from northern hemisphere winter this is the one!
The 2018 Asia Pacific Meeting of the ESA will take place at the Queensland University of Technology from Feb 8 to Feb 9. Save the date! It is jointly organised by the QUT School of Economics and Finance and the Queensland Behavioural Economics group.
Brisbane is the third largest city of Australia. It is blessed with a sunny and welcoming sub-tropical climate (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zUwaqzbaoCY). February is the summer season and is ideally suited for tourism. QUT is a dynamic and fast growing university ranked in the World top 50 universities under 50 years of age. Its campus is conveniently located in the centre of the city, alongside the Botanical Garden. The conference will take place in the recently opened Science and Engineering Centre.
We already secured four inspiring keynote speakers:
Peter Bossaerts (University of Melbourne),
Chew Soo Hong (NUS),
James Cox (Georgia State University),
Guillaume Frechette (New York University).
The deadline to submit a paper is November 1st 2017. More information can be found on the conference's website:

And the conference will be preceded by a one day workshop on neuroeconomics:
