We are pleased to announce that the Sixth Xiamen University International Workshop on Experimental Economics will be hold on December 16-18, 2016 in Xiamen, China.
We welcome submissions incorporating or analyzing controlled experiments using human subjects in studies of decision theory, game theory, development, policy analysis, management science, marketing, political science, or finance. We encourage submissions related to all topics in the field of behavioral and experimental economics.

PAPER SUBMISSION AND REGISTRATION
Researchers who would like to present their work at the conference are invited to submit a short abstract (not exceeding 250 words, including title and co-authors) at the 'Submission' page of the conference website (http://wise.xmu.edu.cn/meetings/Experimental2016/). Please note that all submissions should be in English; however, conditional on sufficient interest, we will offer sessions where presentations will be in Chinese. Please indicate so in your submission, if you prefer to present in Chinese. Each participant will be limited to presenting one paper. The submission deadline is October 24, 2016. Decisions of acceptance will be announced by November 4th, 2016.
The registration fee for general faculty/professionals is 100 USD (or 600 CNY). The registration fee for students is 20 USD (or 120 CNY). The registration fee includes lunches and dinner banquets for both days of the conference, and all coffee break refreshments. The registration deadline is November 18, 2016. Researchers may register at the 'Registration' page of the conference website.
BEST PAPER AWARD
The WISE Outstanding Experimental Economics Paper Award will be given to the most outstanding paper presented at this conference by a researcher who will have not received his or her Ph.D. prior to 2016. If you wish to be considered for this award, please submit by email a copy in English (PDF format) of the paper you will present to WiseExperimental2016+BestPaper@gmail.com by November 30, 2016.

The International Workshop on Experimental Economics is one component of the effort by WISE to establish a leading research center in Experimental Economics and Finance. The Finance and Economics Experimental Lab (FEEL) at WISE commenced operations in the fall of 2010. Please visit the Lab’s website (http://feel.xmu.edu.cn) for more information. This state of the art facility is part of the Ministry of Education Key Laboratory in Econometrics awarded to WISE in 2010. This is the first Ministry Key Lab established in the social sciences.
Xiamen is located in southeast China and has convenient direct flights to many major cities in Asia. It is famous for its resort like atmosphere and has a reputation as the cleanest and most livable Chinese city. Interesting places near Xiamen include the UNESCO World Heritage Hakka Earth Buildings, Gulangyu (Piano Island) and Wuyi Mountain.
Established in 2005, the Wang Yanan Institute for Studies in Economics (WISE) is a recent effort of the Ministry of Education of China and XiamenUniversity to build a first class research institute and facilitate domestic and international research and academic exchanges.
