I am finally back in Anchorage after six weeks of traveling (China, Alaska, Oregon, Singapore, Australia, China, Singapore, Alaska, Hawaii.)  Hence the fragmented, retroactive and out of correct sequence posts. It will probably take a week or two to get it straightened out.  

At the WEAI I had the pleasure of chatting to my advisor from Rochester, Ronald Jones.
